PSCX to start season this week at Jingle

Hi.

This is Lily Williams. I am 1/2 of the Pony Shop’s elite cyclocross team.

Along with Andrew Giniat (the other 1/2), we are two cyclocross racers from Chicago, IL, although we currently live in Asheville, NC. You can read more about us on our About page. We will be racing a UCI calendar this year throughout the Midwest, starting in just four days (!!) at Jingle Cross.

To say we are prepared for Jingle might not be correct. We’ve just finished full road calendars, so we’re definitely fit, but Jingle will provide stacked fields for the both of us and will serve as a nice (rude) reminder of what cross is all about. To say we are excited would be an understatement.

As things come together for us throughout the season, you can check in here, at this site. We’ll be posting race recaps, in the form of blogs and podcasts. We’ll post updates to our schedules, especially as we finalize when and where we will be having junior clinics. And we’ll post lots and lots of photos and videos. At least one of us has a multi-media degree.

We would also like to thank the folks who have made this season possible. Of course, we have The Pony Shop, who support not only Andrew and I, but cyclocross as a whole in Chicagoland and the Midwest. Also included are DeFeet, who produces socks right here in North Carolina, Carborocket for the tastiest fuel there is, Cannondale for the awesome SuperXs, Giro for shoes and helmets, Zipp for the Service Course componentry, HED for the wheels, Donnelly for the tires, and Bike Index for keeping our bikes safe.
