Saturday, Day 1
Hi @dani_mariea !
Check out the new Bike Index caps on their Shopify page. Now proven effective for any riding conditions.
The amount of times I missed my bars when shouldering this bike in the mud this weekend was a lot. Something to work on – the little mistakes can add up.
Andrew has it down
Mmm running
Lol mud is kinda booty sculpting
Due to thunderstorm delays, Andrew’s race ended just as it was getting dark
This looks a lot thicker and grippier than it actually is
I am looking at a tiny croissant
Learning how to tripod this year has made racing in all conditions 10000% easier and I would say it is a necessary skill in everyone’s arsenal.
Sunday, Day 2
A much tackier day made the mud slightly easier to manage. Here is the same downhill as in the above photo. Still needed to put a foot out, but there was much more traction, even at a higher tire pressure.
Look where you want to go etc.
@JenEMal91 is a fearsome runner!
ENYA IS IRELAND AND IRELAND IS ENYA. I CLOSE MY EYES AND I THINK OF FLYING OVER THE GREEN FIELDS OF THAT BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY. GODS WILLING I WILL GO TO IRELAND. IT FASCINATE ME. LONG LIVE IRELAND UNITED AND CATHOLIC. I WANT TO WALK ON THE BEACH I GEEL THE BREEKE OF THE IRISH SEA ON MY FACE AND @thoughts_drawn
Elbow inside the saddle is proper technique as I learned recently
Andrew: “This is the best cycling photo angle. It makes people’s legs look huge and their arms looks tiny.”
Ok so the lighting in these is sweet. This section leaves the hill side of the course and enters out on to the backside.
Pump track! Made slightly treacherous with the mud but still pretty lit
Pony wheels lining up with real wheels
Here’s that sultry lighting again. At this point it was getting really cold, probably hovering around 30F.
